With that being said, we have always been a company that values our agents and what they bring to the table. There is no “our way or the highway” attitude at KWRC, but rather we provide the training and technology as well as proven systems and models to help you succeed and meet your goals. Our core training is free, because we believe by investing in you, you will grow and in turn help the office grow. We have an entire team of brokers available to help you, as well as an incredible office staff that can provide support in different areas of your business.
Keller Williams has developed its own proprietary platform to better serve clients and agents. It was built by agents, for agents, with the idea that it is important to keep the agent at the center of every transaction. Within this platform, agents have access to all of the tools they need to run their business effectively, from lead generation to follow-up to transaction management, marketing, and so much more!
For years, Keller Williams touted that it was the number one training company in the world. Brand new agents were often referred to the company as they entered real estate because the quality of instruction provided could not be beat. Nothing has changed! Keller Williams still provides incredible learning opportunities that cannot be matched by another brokerage. The office offers in-person training taught by brokers and top producers in the market center, free of charge. There are courses geared towards every stage and production level, to make sure no agent feels left out of growth opportunities.
Years ago, Gary Keller developed profit share with the idea that by offering it, no one would ever want to leave Keller Williams. Profit Share is a system that provides risk-free wealth building opportunities for all associates. Market center owners invest in the people who help grow the office by sharing the profits each month. This works as a win-win situation for everyone involved, and does not require any commitment on the agent’s part. When someone joins a Keller Williams office, they name a sponsor. Once they complete a deal (and any subsequent deals until they reach their cap), a portion of the commission received by the office is given back to the sponsoring agent the following month. Sponsorship stretches back seven levels, so that way that portion of the profit is shared across the levels to those who helped grow the business. This is an incredible opportunity for all KW associates, because it is considered passive income - no “work” is required to receive profit share on a monthly basis, and after 7 years and 1 day, an agent is vested and can take profit share with them upon retirement. Keller believes so much in its associates and helping them build legacies for their families, that it even allows profit share to be willed to another. It is a very different program than revenue sharing, offering agents shares of the company, etc. Those mindsets don’t foster a win-win situation for all, which is truly the end goal at Keller Williams.
The world of real estate has shifted significantly over the last few decades, largely due to the development of technology. Gone are the days of desk duty in hopes of a walk-in, or even calls to the office looking to connect with an agent. Now, most turn to the internet. With that in mind, Keller Williams has partnered with social media sites to offer agents the opportunity to advertise for far less than if the agent did it on their own. We believe in helping each agent succeed in growing their own business, expanding their market share, and playing to their strengths. The office does not purchase leads or divvy them up among agents, but rather empowers our agents to generate their own in the ways that best fit their skills!
